Secrets of China Rejects WHO’s Covid-19 Virus Origin Study
Healthful Vitality | 07/26/2021 | Secrets of China Rejects WHO’s Covid-19 Virus Origin Study.
As the Covid-19 virus origin initially held secret, what are the secrets of China rejects WHO plan for covid-19 virus origin study? Unquestionably, the World must solve the mystery of COVID-19’s Origin. Several analyses explain that public officials’ accountability and governance towards the health of their people have weakened and WHO is ineffective in making countries accountable for their unmoved behavior that costs millions of human lives worldwide. In this situation, are there other secrets of China rejects WHO Plan for study Covid-19 virus origin and is China taking advantage-economic or otherwise?
Investigations reveal that coronavirus was first found in bats, and it later spread to other species. It belongs to a huge family of viruses, and they all cause “common cold,” which is a common symptom to all of them. It is also called SARS-CoV-2, which is responsible for causing Covid-19.
Coronavirus jumped to humans in an open market of Wuhan named as “wet market.” In this market, customers buy animal meat and fish. Some wet markets in China sell banned species to the customers, including Cobras, raccoon dogs, and wild boars. When the market is crowded with different species, there is always a chance of “genes swapping” between the animals. And when this phenomenon occurs at a much higher speed, then the virus (e.g., Covid-19) changes itself and jumps to humans. And then, the coronavirus starts affecting humans, and it starts spreading among them. So, it appears that the coronavirus commonly known as Covid-19 originated from this wet market in Wuhan.
How the virus spreads- Secrets of China rejects WHO’s covid-19 virus origin study
Coronavirus infected the people both from inside and outside the wet market. It even affected those people who weren’t the customers of the wet market. This setting gave the first indication that coronavirus can spread from human to human because people not consuming animals were also affected. It also included the people outside the city. Notably, researchers found that the covid-19 is transmitted from human to human. And now, the coronavirus is spreading around the globe and has attained a face of a pandemic. People are inadvertently catching coronavirus, and they are spreading it to other humans. Now it has become a chain of transmission that no one knows where and when will end.
Evolution of corona virus
Researchers found out that the first origin of Covid-19 back in time in 1965. The most common symptom associated with it was the “common cold.” And after that first case, scientists found out many similar human and animal viruses. They all appeared quite similar in shape in a way that they all had a crown-like appearance. It seems seven types of coronaviruses can infect humans. As the coronavirus passed through evolution, it changed itself a lot as the Covid-19 can change itself at much higher rates. Hence, with its growth, indeed treatments also are getting changed to fight the mutating virus.
Humans in a race against an erratic virus
When the Covid-19 started spreading, it created a buzz all over the world. Since no vaccine was available at the start and it led to the death of many precious lives. But at the beginning of this pandemic, the scientists felt expectant and thought that Covid-19 is just a virus that would be easy to treat. They initially thought that the coronavirus could not mutate itself to a point to dodge the immune system of humans.
However, soon, the scientists realized that coronavirus transforms itself into different forms. The treatment of these variants is complex as these variants need vaccines specific to them only. The already available vaccines cannot be administered against these emerging variants. Nowadays, the new kid on the “delta variant” block has become the hot topic of discussion. The scientists have joined heads now to develop a possible treatment against this new variant of coronavirus.
China rejected WHO Plan
China rejected the second phase of the WHO plan to study the origin of the virus again. “Zeng Yixin” stated this issue. He said he called back when he realized that WHO again wants to study the origin of the coronavirus as if it was leaked from the lab in China. He further said that it is just a rumor that the virus spread from the lab in China, and it goes against common sense.
WHO’s proposal to dig deep into the fact that “from where the coronavirus originated” served as a diplomatic issue between the relation of the two nations that is the US and China. This issue fueled the US-China relationship because China rejected WHO’s plan to study the Covid-19 virus origin. However, the US is stuck to the fact that China has not been transparent from the very start. They asked China for the search for the origin of Covid-19. Yet, on the other side, China claims that the US and others are just playing dirty politics, and they have taken this matter into their hands rather than leaving it to the scientists.
Zeng’s take after the first research phase of who officials
The first research phase to determine the origin of the coronavirus was conducted at the start of this year. A team of researchers came to China to work with the Chinese coordinates. But after that, China rejected the WHO plan to study Covid-19 virus origin. The WHO team was accused of kneeling to the demands from the Chinese officials after stating that further study wasn’t needed.
Zeng Yixin said that “Lab Of Wuhan” has no virus that can transfer to humans and cause disease to them. He further said that the team indicated no chance of virus leakage from the Wuhan Lab. In addition, he said that assumption that the virus first infected the lab workers and the students and they started spreading it was utterly fallacious. He further emphasized the fact that “Wuhan Lab” has neither created and nor leaked the coronavirus.
Speculations about virus and China’s take around the secrets of China rejects WHO’s covid-19 virus origin study
Zeng further supported his country’s stance and said that China has always supported conducting new research. But this time, the matter has been politicized, and that’s why China rejected WHO’s plan to study virus origin. He further added that China wouldn’t tolerate the false allegations, and it can’t become a part of a conspiracy.
Zeng further requested WHO to look professionally into this matter, politicize it, and make it a campaign against China to prove themselves right. Moreover, the Chinese team leader “Liang Wannian” said that China has faith that the virus is not leaked from Wuhan’s Laboratory, and that’s why there is no need to invest more energy and sources on this matter.
He further added that if a possibility arises and finds some evidence, other countries can look into this matter. But at the present moment, China won’t allow tracing of the origin of Covid-19. Indeed, China has also been blamed for the intentional release of the coronavirus. Yet, China has been denying the accusations and is steadfast that the novel coronavirus didn’t originate from China.
Weak WHO leadership in controlling Covid-19
It looks WHO failed in controlling the Covid-19 crises originally. Admittedly, China knowing that the WHO leadership is weak and cannot make China accountable, China could reject the WHO Plan, currently and in feature, for any sound study of Covid-19 Virus Origin and other crises to come.
The economy of China consists of a GDP of $16.64 trillion (nominal; 2021), ranked 2nd to the $22.785 trillion of the US (nominal; 2021). It appears that a fast-growing economy of China could benefit from being non-transparent and also secrecy is a standard in China. “Secrecy Remains the Chinese Government Model,” reports the MIPR. It adds, “Such secrecy is the norm in China.” More specifically, “As long as the communist party is in charge in Beijing, the world will remain as vulnerable to future pandemics as it was to Covid-19,” tells MIPR.
In conclusion, as the National Institute of Health suggests, it is too early to tell the political effects of COVID‐19. However, the pandemic shows to weaken populist leaders. Indeed, the most dangerous consequence of the COVID‐19 pandemic is fear which could spread quickly worldwide in this era of a globalized economy. While lack of transparency regarding COVID-19 origin can have devastating effects, the secrets of China would open new debates in the world.
